Cheating of Rs 6 lakh, case registered against 2 women
Rajnandgaon: The police have registered a crime under sections of fraud in the case of cheating against two women in the name of getting a job. The accused women took lakhs of rupees from a city woman for getting a job in the Women and Child Development Department. After the complaint, the police have registered a crime on charges of forgery.
According to the information received, Shyama Aggarwal alias Asha Aggarwal, a resident of Sahdev Nagar of the city, complained to the Kotwali police station and told the police that Taran Pal alias Munni, 50 years, and Vandana Meshram, 46, residents of Dongargarh, had given 6 rupees in installments on the pretext of getting a job. Took lakh rupees. Initially 40 thousand rupees were given. After that, on different dates, 6 lakh accused women took it from the victim. The victim told the police that she gave the money out of greed to get her daughter a job. The accused women started procrastinating in the name of getting a job and refused to ask for the money back. After this the victim went to the police and complained.
