CHENNAI NEWS: Men’s inter-university badminton tournament begins at VIT

Chennai: Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu (SDAT) executive director and member secretary Meghnath Reddy inaugurated the six-day Southern Zone Men’s Inter-University Badminton Tournament at the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) on Tuesday.

Reddy urged the youth to have role models who inspire them and lead them on the right path towards success in life. Dr. GV Selvam, Vice President, VIT, in his presidential address talked about the importance of maintaining good health. 118 teams from universities of AP, Karnataka, Kerala, Puducherry, TN and Telangana are participating in the event.
