CHENNAI: PMK urges Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission
CHENNAI: Slamming the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) for delaying the recruitment process, PMK founder S Ramadoss urged the commission to conduct counseling for vacant posts in government departments.
“Despite the results of the statistics exam being released five months ago, the counseling of the selected candidates has not been conducted yet. The exam was conducted in January last year and the results should have been released in March. The counseling is scheduled to be conducted in April. But the result was his release in August itself, the senior leader said in a statement.
He alleged that the Commission is not explaining the reasons to the candidates waiting for appointment. The reason for the appointment process not being completed even after 16 months is the indifference of TNPSC.
“Candidates are in mental agony. To end their suffering, TNPSC should immediately release the schedule for counselling. Counseling should be conducted within a month and appointment orders should be issued,” he urged.
