Chetak helicopter crashes on INS Gourda runway

Kochi: According to official sources, a Chetak helicopter of the Indian Navy was involved in a ground incident on the INS Garuda runway in Kochi on Saturday, resulting in the loss of life of a sailor.

Indian Navy officials said the helicopter crashed during a routine maintenance taxi check.

Officials have further said that a board of inquiry has been formed to determine the root cause of the accident.
