Chhattisgarh: Rain warning from September 20

Raipur: After relief for the next five days, both the area and quantity of rainfall is likely to increase in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh from September 20. According to the weather bulletin, a marked low pressure area is located around the central part of western Madhya Pradesh and along with it the cyclonic circulation of upper air extends up to 7.6 km height.

It is likely to move towards Gujarat. The monsoon trough is located south of the normal position at mean sea level. Today i.e. on 17th September, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain or thundershowers at one or two places. There is also a possibility of thunder and lightning at 1-2 places in the state. There is a possibility of increase in maximum temperature in the state.
