Chhattisgarh: Three villagers were looking for customers to sell diamonds, cyber team caught them
Gariaband. Three villagers were roaming around in search of diamonds. Cyber three have caught all three. Information was received from the informer that three suspicious persons have left from village Patparpali towards Charoda with precious diamonds in two different motorcycles. On verifying the information of illegal transportation of diamonds, the witness and Hamraaj staff left for the spot. After reaching village Kandagadi turn, a blockade was done, after some time three persons were coming in two different motorcycles, motorcycle TVS and motorcycle Deluxe, whom the police stopped and questioned and on searching the three suspected accused, 30 pieces of small and big shiny precious mineral diamonds were found in the possession of suspect Chandrashekhar Thakur. Which was seized by the police in the presence of the witness.
As the act of the accused was found to be a crime under section 21(4) of Mining Act, a crime was registered against the accused in Chura police station and the accused were sent to jail in judicial custody.
In the above action, the role of Police Station Incharge Chura Sub Inspector Dilip Meshram, Jaiprakash Mishra, Girdhari Lal Dhruv, Krishna Yadav, Landas Ratnakar, Akhilesh Vaishnav Rajkumar Markam along with ASI Manish Verma, Angad Rao, Satish Giri, Devendra Sonwani, Gangadhar Sinha, Kritesh Prajapati from Cyber Team was commendable.
