Chief Minister criticized the previous government for promoting the atmosphere of atheism
Agartala: Chief Minister Professor Dr Manik Saha on Monday criticized the former Left Front government for promoting an environment of atheism, emphasizing that the people of the state have now moved away from such beliefs and towards faith and spirituality. Adopting positive changes.
Dr. Saha said this while participating in the consecration and inauguration of the developed Sringeri Balaji Temple, a replica of South Indian architecture, in the Pachardahar area of Fatikroy in Unakoti district.
“I am confident that this temple will play an important role in spreading spiritual ideas and Sanatan culture among the people. I wholeheartedly thank Shri Sharda Peetham, Sringeri for establishing this temple in Tripura,” Dr. Saha said.
He said that the country is progressing well under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi since 2014.
“When Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister of India, he launched a scheme called PRASAD for the renovation and reconstruction of pilgrimage sites. The development of Kashi Vishwanath was completed in 2021, attracting thousands of devotees from other countries to visit Kashi. Due to PM Modi, pilgrimage sites are being developed in other states also. Such initiatives not only strengthen religious sentiments but also contribute to strengthening the economy. The view of this temple will change in a few days. We have also constructed roads for easy travel of the people. We never thought that such a temple could be built in Tripura,” said Dr Saha.
He said that under the leadership of PM Modi, Kedarnath, which was affected by the natural disaster, was also repaired and handed over to the pilgrims.
“For the first time, a temple was established in a Muslim country, which we never thought of, but it became possible because of PM Modi. We waited for 500 years and thanks to PM Modi, Ram Lalla was consecrated. There was a time when an environment of atheism was created by the then government and now an environment of theism has been established. Nothing is possible without God.
Nagaland Governor La Ganesan, Youth and Sports Affairs Minister Tinku Roy, ARDD Minister Shudangshu Das and others were present during the event.
