Chief Minister Disabled Scooty Distribution Program District Collector distributed 32 scooties
District Collector Dr. Bharti Dixit distributed scooties to 32 Divyangs in the Chief Minister Divyang Scooty Distribution Program organized in the Collectorate premises on Thursday.
District Collector Dr. Bharti Dixit said that Divyang has to struggle more than a normal person in daily life. The government is always ready to reduce their struggle. Chief Minister Divyang Scooty Distribution Program announced by Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot is a work in this direction only. Scooty was allotted by the government to 170 Divyangs for Ajmer district. Earlier scooties have been distributed to 138 Divyangs. The remaining 32 scooties were distributed on Thursday. By benefiting from this scheme, the disabled will be able to work with good quality in their business and field of work.
Chairman of Ajmer Dairy Shri Ramchandra Chowdhary said that such programs will increase the opportunities available to the differently-abled. They will act like a normal person. They will be able to face the challenges that come in normal life. You will be able to complete your work easily due to the removal of obstacles related to movement.
Deputy Director of Social Justice and Empowerment Department Mr. Prafulla Chand Chaubisa said that scooties were distributed to the disabled by the government due to sensitivity towards the disabled. In this step, their mobility problem will end. The scooty distributed in the program costs around 86 thousand each. Divyang has been considered equivalent to BPL by the government.
On this occasion, Municipal Corporation Leader of Opposition Ms. Draupadi, Additional District Collector Mr. Rajendra Singh, Principal of Deaf School Mr. Sant Kumar, Social Security Officer Mr. Vishal Singh, Mr. Indrajit Singh, public representatives, representatives of voluntary organizations and officers were present.
