Child dies after being hit by tractor, angry people beat driver to death

Ranchi (IANS). Angry people thrashed a teenage tractor driver to death after a child was hit by a tractor in Bagdu police station area of Lohardaga district.

After this incident, there is an atmosphere of sensation and tension in the area. The incident is of Areya village. It was told that the 15-year-old son of Sanjay Prajapati, a resident of Areya village, was plowing with a tractor in Munna Oraon’s field at Nirhu Tand, two kilometers away from Vishal village. Shreyansh Sahu, the five-year-old son of a villager named Neeraj Sahu, was sitting in this tractor. While plowing the field with the tractor, he fell down and got stuck in the rotavator and died.

After this people thrashed Vishal fiercely and put him under the tractor tyre, due to which he died. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and took the body into custody and sent it to Lohardaga Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The police have taken the statements of both the parties regarding the incident. Police force has been deployed to restore peace in the village.
