Childbirth victim dies due to bleeding not stopping, negligence of nursing home

Bilaspur. The woman who went for delivery in Bilaspur kept groaning in pain for three hours. But, due to non-deposit of money, the hospital management did not admit him. Due to this, the woman had to undergo surgery and died after giving birth to a twin child. After this incident, angry family members created a ruckus. During this time, the police reached the spot and kept counseling the family members. But, the family remained adamant on the demand for investigation and action. The matter is of Torwa police station area.

Rajendra Yadav, resident of village Gataura of Masturi area, is a mason. His wife Sunita Yadav (38) was pregnant. On Wednesday morning, she suffered labor pain, then her family took her to Mitra Nursing Home located at Torwa Chowk. The hospital staff admitted her for delivery.

The woman’s family member Binda Bai told that we had come to the hospital since morning. Sunita was moaning in pain. But, the hospital management remained adamant on starting the treatment only after depositing the money. We brought the loan from the village and the treatment started after three hours. After which the operation was done. But, the bleeding did not stop after the surgery. Meanwhile, he was hurriedly referred to another hospital. Then the woman died.
