Chinese Consul General in Mumbai calls on Chairman of Tata Group

Beijing. Hong Xianhua, Consul General of the Chinese Consulate General in Mumbai, met Tata Group Chairman Natarajan Chandrasekaran on 7 August. During this, Chandrasekaran briefed about the business situation of the Tata Group in China and his experiences of visiting several cities in China. Hong Xianhua appreciated the efforts made by the Tata Group and Chandrasekaran himself in promoting China-India economic and trade exchanges. Khong said that we attach importance to the development of bilateral trade relations and support Indian companies including Tata to visit China and negotiate business. At the same time, we hope that the Tata groups will promote bilateral personnel movement and business exchanges while fulfilling their own benefits, so as to strengthen the well-being of the peoples of both countries. Consul General Hong Xianhua also said that the Chinese Consulate General in Mumbai will continue to provide necessary support for personnel exchanges and economic-trade cooperation between Chinese and Indian business enterprises as before.
