CM Eknath Shinde praised PM Modi, group of 300 people left for Ayodhya on foot
Maharashtra Minister Eknath Shinde on Sunday praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for realizing the dreams of millions of Indians with the construction of a grand Ram temple in Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya.
He was speaking at an event organized to flag off 300 devotees who will travel to Ayodhya on foot and reach there after 47 days.
Shinde said, “I am grateful to Prime Minister Modi and UP CM Yogi Adityanath for fulfilling the dreams of millions of people with the construction of Ram temple. This will be fruitful for their ‘Shraddha, Asmita and Bhakti’ (devotion and pride).” , , ,
Saying that late Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray also wanted to build a grand temple in Ayodhya, the CM said the holy city has been completely transformed and turned into an important pilgrimage site of the world.
Shinde said, “When we go to Ayodhya for the inauguration of the temple (consecration of the idol) on January 22, we will also experience the grandeur and darshan.”
