CM Sai remembered Thakur Pyarelal Singh on his birth anniversary
Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has paid tribute to freedom fighter late Thakur Pyarelal Singh on his birth anniversary on 21st December. Recalling the invaluable contribution of Thakur Pyarelal Singh to Chhattisgarh, he said that Thakur Saheb is known as the pioneer of the cooperative movement in Chhattisgarh. He not only served the poor but also struggled throughout his life for their rights.
He was associated with freedom movements since his student days. The credit for connecting students with the movements in an organized manner in Chhattisgarh also goes to Thakur Saheb. He raised his voice against atrocities and injustice and provided an organized direction to the public discontent. Thakur Pyarelal Singh provided efficient leadership by organizing the mill workers in Rajnandgaon. He also did many things for public awareness. His contributions will always be remembered.
