CM Siddaramaiah: Karnataka a major aviation hub

Bengaluru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Friday highlighted Karnataka’s emergence as a major aviation hub in the country. Addressing delegates at the inauguration of the Boeing India Engineering and Technology Center (BIETC) campus in Bengaluru on Friday, Siddaramaiah said, “Karnataka has proudly acquired the distinction of being the aerospace hub of the country, which is the hub of the aerospace and defense sector. “Commands more than 65 percent of the population in India.” Export.”

Meanwhile, he also said that the government is committed to moving ahead with technological advancements, while also striving towards inclusivity and accessibility. Praising Boeing’s Sukanya programme, he said, “For this, we are dedicated to empowering our girls and women across the state.”

Today, Karnataka is the fourth largest technology cluster globally, ranks first in the India Innovation Index and leads in total exports among all Indian states. The Chief Minister concluded, “The state is home to 400 of the Fortune 500 companies… I am hopeful that Boeing’s initiative will bring a bright future of innovation, progress and prosperity for Karnataka and the company.”
