CM visits Jakhu temple in Shimla, sees proposed site for 111 feet statue of Lord Ram

Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu on Monday visited the Hanuman temple at Jakhu in Shimla and saw the site where the 111-foot statue of Lord Ram is proposed to be installed. Established. The Chief Minister visited Jakhu temple and offered prayers to Lord Hanuman. He visited the temple after the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla was held in the grand temple in Ayodhya.

He said that Lord Ram is the basis of Indian culture. “Lord Ram is the culture of India, his life has been consecrated today. I would like to congratulate and wish everyone. We have tried to run our government and follow the path and teachings of Lord Rama in our lives. It is important that Ram temple is being constructed in Ayodhya.

Hanumanji brought Ramji back to Ayodhya. We recited Hanuman Chalisa here. I appeal to everyone to follow the path of Ramji. We will install a big idol of Lord Ram here,” Sukhu said. He also urged people to light earthen lamps. Sukhu accused state BJP leaders of trying to take political advantage from the temple-related incidents in Ayodhya.

Sukhu said, “I am a Sanatan Dharmi. Here the opposition leaders are trying to take political advantage. Whatever good I’m doing is just misleading.” Sukhu also targeted Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and accused him of adopting political tactics against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. The Congress has alleged that Rahul Gandhi, who was on his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, was “stopped” from offering puja at Batadrava Than, the birthplace of Sant Sri Sri Shankardev, in Hainoragaon near here.

The party alleged that this was done on the instructions of Sarma. Sukhu said there is no law in the country to stop any devotee from worshiping at a religious place. Sukhu said, “Nyaya Yatra is getting very good public response and the government in Assam is trying to mislead the people of the state. Ramji is with Rahul Gandhi and the people of Assam and the country are with Rahul Gandhi.” Sukhu had paid obeisance at the Ram temple in Shimla on Sunday and lit lamps.

24-hour ‘Akhand Path’ also started in the temple. Sukhu prayed for the prosperity of the state and said Lord Ram is “our role model”. The Chief Minister also announced a public holiday in the state on January 22. The Chief Minister had said that Lord Ram does not belong to any particular party and he is the ideal of the entire country and our culture. In response to a question, Sukhu had said that he would visit Ayodhya in the near future.
He said that Lord Ram is considered incomplete without Lord Hanuman and as per the proposal of the Sood Sabha, an idol of Lord Ram along with Lord Hanuman will be installed in Jakhu.
