CM Yogi did Rudrabhishek on Somvati Amavasya

Gorakhpur: On the second Monday of the month of Sawan, which is very dear to Lord Bholenath, on the occasion of Somvati (Monday) Amavasya, in the auspicious Sarvartha Siddhi special yoga, Gorakshpeethadhishwar and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath performed Rudrabhishek and Havan at the Shaktipeeth of Gorakhnath temple and wished for Lokmangal from Devadhidev Mahadev. Even on the first day of Sawan month, Gorakshpeethadhishwar had performed Rudrabhishek and prayed for happiness and prosperity in the lives of all the citizens. During his visit to the Gorakhnath temple, on the second Monday of Sawan (coincidentally Somvati Amavasya also), he prayed for the welfare of the grazing world by doing special worship of Lord Shankar. On Monday morning, in the Shaktipeeth located on the first floor of his residence of Gorakhnath temple, CM Yogi offered Vilva Patra, lotus flower etc. to Bholenath and then performed Rudrabhishek with milk and fruit juice.
