Cold temperatures dropped in cities
Gujarat. After the festival of lights, people have started feeling cold due to falling mercury in many cities of Gujarat. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light pressure forming in the Bay of Bengal on Tuesday 14 November. Which can turn into depression on 16th November. After this it will move in west-northwest direction. After half of November, winter has knocked in Gujarat. At present, cold is being felt from late night till morning. Cold is being felt more especially in rural areas. On Monday, the temperature dropped to 14 degrees in many cities of Gujarat. 13 degree cold has been recorded in Naliya of Kutch.
Which is the highest cold figure in the entire state. In Gandhinagar, 14 degrees cold has been recorded, while in Surendranagar also the mercury has reached 14 degrees. Whereas 14.1 degrees cold has been recorded in Rajkot city. The mercury in Ahmedabad city has reached 15.6 degrees. Vadodara city recorded a cold of 17 degrees. Whereas the mercury has reached 19 degrees in Bhavnagar and 20.5 degrees in Surat. Similarly, 21.3 degrees have been recorded in Dwarka, 17.8 degrees in Bhuj and 24.3 degrees in Veraval. The minimum temperature recorded in Saurashtra Kutch was 1 to 6 degrees above normal. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has predicted that there is a possibility of light pressure forming in the Bay of Bengal on November 14.
