Collector inspected strong room with political parties

Sarangarh-Bilaigarh. Collector and District Election Officer Dr. Fariha Alam Siddiqui inspected the strong room along with representatives of political parties. In the presence of the Collector, the lock of the strong room was opened and the EVMs and VVPAT machines allotted to the District Election Officer were distributed to the returning officers, the record of which was made in the computer. Along with this, the arrangements for distributing and returning EVM and VVPAT machines sector-wise for voting were inspected in the big hall of the Mandi complex near the Collectorate. Collector Dr. Siddiqui also conducted physical inspection of the counting venue and gave related information to the representatives of political parties. On this occasion, Additional Collector Nishtha Pandey Tiwari, Deputy Election Officer Prakash Bhardwaj, SDM and Returning Officer Monica Verma and Dr. Snigdha Tiwari, Deputy Collector TR Maheshwari, Nodal Officer Panchayat Harishankar Chauhan, Tehsildar Ayush Tiwari, Mandi officials, SDO of PWD etc. was present.
