Collector took review meeting of Jal Jeevan Mission and Food Department

Mohalla. Collector S. Jayawardhan today reviewed the ongoing construction works under Jal Jeevan Mission in the meeting room of the district office. In the meeting where the Collector updated the review of all the construction works under the scheme, the Collector took information about the situation and directed the officials to complete all the construction works approved under the Jal Jeevan Mission within the stipulated time with quality. He clearly instructed that there will be no compromise in quality. He said that Jal Jeevan Mission is an important scheme. This will ensure supply of clean water to the citizens.

He took information about the construction works approved so far, Pragati Rath construction works and pending construction works. In the meeting, the Collector has directed to take necessary action as per rules against the concerned construction agency causing unnecessary delay in the construction work. The Collector took information about new gas connections and gas refilling in the meeting of the Food Department. In the meeting, the Collector also took information about the gas connection distribution and refilling done under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. In the meeting, the Collector said that keeping in mind the public convenience, the beneficiaries should get refilling service near their homes. He said that special care should be taken to ensure that the beneficiaries do not face unnecessary trouble while refilling. He took information about paddy procurement, lifting, transportation, storage and linking and gave necessary guidelines.
