Collision between truck and car, one dead

Ambikapur. Maharajganj committee manager Deepak Minj, who was travelling in a car, died after his car collided with a truck on Ambikapur-Bilaspur national highway on Tuesday night in Ambikapur city limits. Chando committee manager Firoz Ansari was seriously injured. He has been admitted to a private hospital in Ambikapur. Both the committee managers were returning from the High Court.

They had to go to the High Court in protest against the pressure being made to compensate for the dried and destroyed paddy due to non-lifting of paddy on time. The deceased committee manager had got married just a week ago. On the same route, three youths were killed when their motorcycle collided with a truck near Lakhanpur. A total of four people have died within two hours.
