Company clerk died while trying to escape the rain, he was sitting under the trailer

Korba: Clerk of a private company died in an accident at SECL Kusmunda mine in the district. Here near Coal Stock No. 29, the trailer rammed Munshi, killing him on the spot. According to information, on August 30, on the day of Raksha Bandhan festival, Vinay (26), who works as a scribe in Coal Transport, was leaving to get his sister to tie Rakhi. Meanwhile suddenly it started raining heavily. Vinay Kusmunda sat behind the trailer standing in the mine to avoid the rain. After some time, the driver of the trailer suddenly reversed the vehicle, due to which Vinay came under his grip.

The young man died on the spot after being crushed under the wheel. Enraged by the incident, coal lifters and their colleagues blocked Vigilance Chowk. As soon as the information was received, Kusmunda police station in-charge Krishna Kumar Verma along with his team reached the spot and pacified the people by convincing them. After this, the dead body of the youth was sent for postmortem to Mercuri located in Vikas Nagar.
