Complaint to SP against fraud constable, defrauded of Rs 2 lakhs for getting job
Rajnandgaon. Two youths were cheated of Rs 2 lakh on the pretext of getting them a job as a forest guard in the forest department. The incident was carried out by a constable who was previously posted at Jalbandha police station. After the complaint received from the SP, a case of fraud has been registered against the constable in the Kotwali police station.
According to the information, constable Bhagwat Meshram deceived Durg residents Virendra Sahu and Vivek Sahu by offering them forest guard jobs. For this, Rs 1 lakh each was demanded from both of them. Both the youths, in their desire for a job, gave him two lakh rupees.
But even after this he did not get the job. The youth asked Bhagwat Meshram for their money back, but he was hesitant. The phone also stopped receiving. After this the victims complained about the matter to Khairagarh SP. After investigation of the case, a crime under section 420 has been registered against the accused constable in the Kotwali police station.
