Congress attacker on Dalit murder in MP, accused of being minister’s representative
Bhopal (IANS). The murder of a Dalit in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh has taken a political colour. The Congress has sent an investigation team and accused a close associate of a leader associated with the BJP for the murder, while former Union minister Arun Yadav accused the accused involved in the murder of being a representative of Minister Bhupendra Singh’s agricultural produce market.
The case pertains to village Barodia Nonagir under Khurai assembly constituency of Sagar district. Dalit youth Nitin Ahirwar was beaten to death here, along with this Nitin’s mother was also beaten up and sexually assaulted.
It is being said that this incident took place due to non-compromise in the case of molestation. When this matter came to the fore, Madhya Pradesh Congress President Kamal Nath constituted a committee to investigate the incident and sent the committee to know the facts at the scene of the incident.
The investigation committee, which reached the spot, got Kamal Nath talking on the mobile of the victims. Member of the investigation team Avneesh Bhargava and chairman of the investigation team Surendra Chaudhary said that on the instigation of the BJP government and responsible minister Bhupendra Singh, there is an atmosphere of terror and fear in the entire region not only among the Scheduled Castes but also among the backward poor and general sections. . Because of this, the goons associated with the minister thrashed a Scheduled Caste youth to death and also did the shameful act of stripping and thrashing his mother.
The Congress investigation team has demanded that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan should treat these criminals equally, the houses of the culprits should be bulldozed and action should be initiated immediately to give them the harshest punishment.
The inquiry committee of the Congress has also demanded financial assistance of one crore rupees to the family members of the deceased and government job to the family member.

BJP-ruled Madhya Pradesh has the highest rate of crimes against Dalits, three times the national average.

Former Congress state president Arun Yadav has tweeted sharing the letter from Minister Bhupendra Singh to make the accused a representative of the Agricultural Produce Market. He said, BJP MLA Kedar Shukla’s representative Pravesh urinated on a tribal youth in Sidhi, now in Khurai, minister Bhupendra Singh’s representative along with his family members thrashed a Dalit youth to death.
