A meeting was organized in the Collectorate hall under the chairmanship of Collector cum Chairman District Water and Sanitation Mission Dharmesh Kumar Sahu, in which the progress, action plan and better implementation of Central Government’s Jal Jeevan Mission was discussed in front of District Water and Sanitation Mission Committee. Thereafter, a detailed discussion was held with all the contractors regarding the progress of work under Jal Jeevan Mission. The Collector directed to start the allotted work soon, repair road cutting and breakage in the pipeline extension work as it is.
The general public should not face inconvenience in traffic. District President and Magistrate Dharmesh Kumar Sahu gave strict instructions to stop payment in case of road repair not being done. Deep displeasure has been expressed to the contractor regarding starting the unstarted work soon and progress in the work. During the meeting, R.K. Kashyap, Executive Officer Public Health and Mechanical, B.L. Assistant Engineer Khare, Assistant Engineer Manoj Dakode and all the officers and contractors of the committee were present.
