Controversy over playing game in mobile, 9th student shot dead by friend

Bhagalpur (IANS). Class IX student Akash Kumar was shot and seriously injured by his own friend in a dispute over playing a mobile game in Gopalpur police station area of Bhagalpur district of Bihar on Thursday.

According to the police, some friends were playing games on mobile near Makanpur Chowk on Thursday. During this, it is said that Akash had a dispute with his friend. In this dispute, the friend shot Akash.

In a hurry, with the help of the local people and the police, he was admitted to Mayaganj Hospital in Bhagalpur for treatment, where the doctors have described his condition as worrisome.

Gopalpur station in-charge Neeraj Kumar told that the police is probing the whole matter. The accused has been identified. The accused is absconding since the incident, raids are being conducted to arrest him. The injured Akash’s father is a Home Guard soldier.
