Councilor arrested along with his son in hooliganism case, police took action after attempting suicide

Durg: The powerful councilor of Bhilai and his son were finally arrested by the police. The councilor and his son were accused of beating up Satpal Singh, resident of Sector 10. Angered by the beating, Satpal Singh climbed the electricity tower. The police somehow convinced Satpal Singh who had climbed the tower and brought him down. Satpal Singh’s allegation was that due to the dominance of the councilor, he was insulted by the councilor even inside the police station and he was bullied in the presence of the police. When he did not get justice even from the police, he climbed the electricity tower to demand justice.

After the assembly elections, Satpal Singh, living in Sector 10, had a dispute with the local councilor. As the dispute between the two escalated, the councilor and his son together beat up Satpal. Angered, Satpal reached the police station to file a report, where instead the police registered a case against the victim. Angered by this, Satpal Singh climbed the tower. After convincing the police and MP and assuring them of taking action against the culprit, he came down. The police later registered a case against the councilor and his son who were involved in beating and hooliganism and arrested them. Satpal Singh’s anger subsided with the arrest of the councilor and his son.
