CPI will contest 1 Lok Sabha, 5-8 Assembly seats in Odisha
Bhubaneswar: Communist Party of India (CPI), an I.N.D.I.A. The alliance partner will contest 1 Lok Sabha and 5-8 assembly seats in the upcoming general and assembly elections in Odisha.
CPI will contest from Jagatsinghpur Lok Sabha seat and not from Aska, senior CPI leader Ram Krishna Panda told I.N.D.I.A. Gave this information after a meeting. A meeting of the alliance was held at Congress Bhawan here today.
Panda said that his party will contest 5-8 assembly seats apart from the Jagatsinghpur Lok Sabha seat. Notably, in the 2019 general elections, Panda contested the Aska Lok Sabha seat as a candidate of the Congress-Left parties alliance, however Were unsuccessful.
