Criminals attacked during raid, station in-charge died due to bullet injury

Samastipur (Bihar): Mohanpur OP station in-charge of Samastipur district in Bihar, Nand Kishore Yadav has died. Late night he went to raid in Dalsinghsarai police station area. During this, 8 to 10 miscreants fired at him. The bullet hit his head. After this, he was admitted to Dalsinghsarai Sub-Divisional Hospital in critical condition. Here he died during treatment.

Please tell that incidents of buffalo theft were happening in Mohanpur OP police station area for the last few days. During the investigation, it was found that a gang of Nalanda was carrying out these incidents. While taking action on this, station in-charge Nand Kishore Yadav recovered many buffaloes. SP Vinay Tiwari told that last night the station in-charge raided and arrested three thieves and were returning after recovering some buffaloes. Meanwhile, the station in-charge got information that some thieves are hiding in Dalsinghsarai. On this he had reached to raid.

Only then about 10 miscreants present there started firing in the dark. During this, the bullet hit the station in-charge directly in the head. Police personnel hurriedly admitted him to Dalsinghsarai sub-divisional hospital, where the doctors referred him to Begusarai seeing his condition serious.

He died during treatment here. Samastipur Superintendent of Police Vinay Tiwari told that three alleged cattle smugglers are in custody. The search operation is going on under the leadership of Dalsinghsarai SDPO Dinesh Pandey to nab his other accomplices.
