Crocodile in the field, farmer narrowly escaped by being alert

Korba. Crocodiles are continuously being found in Pali area of Korba district. Every day we get information that crocodiles have been found in the area. Some villages of Pali development block are near Khuntaghat Dam, due to which crocodiles keep coming and going in the village ponds. Meanwhile, on Thursday, farmers and laborers who had come to harvest crops in Parsada village of Katghora forest division came face to face with a crocodile.

The people of the village informed the forest department about this. The Forest Department team rescued and caught the crocodile, put it in the vehicle and left it in the submergence of Khuntaghat Dam. After this the villagers heaved a sigh of relief.

The forest department team reached the spot, rescued the crocodile and released it in Khuntaghat Dooban. It is being told that seeing people coming near it, the crocodile was trying to scare them by opening its mouth. In this whole matter, officials say that due to its proximity to Khuntaghat, crocodiles reach the fields. Villagers have been asked to be cautious. It has been said to inform as soon as you see a crocodile.
