culvert washed away due to rain

Surajpur. The incessant rains in Surajpur district have now started showing their ugly face. Due to incessant rains in the district, water is flowing over the bridge culvert at many places, due to which contact with many villages has been lost. On the other hand, the bridge built on the drain in Kalua Marg which was built many years ago under the Pradhan Mantri Sadak Yojana.

It was washed away due to heavy rains on Sunday, cutting off contact with several villages. At the same time, school children are also facing trouble in going to school. After this, the local people are demanding the administration and the department to build the bridge as soon as possible.
