Raigarh. Once again an elephant died due to electric shock in the district. After getting information about the incident, the forest department team reached the spot and started further action. The said case is of Dharamjaigarh forest division area.
According to the information received, an elephant died after coming in contact with a live wire last night in the forest of village Krondha, which comes under Dharamjaigarh forest division area of Raigarh district. It is being told that the villager of the village had installed a live wire in the field to guard his crop, due to which the said elephant died after coming in contact.
According to the forest department officials, a group of Gautami elephants was roaming in this area for the last few days, one elephant from this group has died. After the information from the villagers of the village, the forest department team reached the spot and started further action.
