Cylinder blast at employee house, 2 vehicles burnt to ashes

Korba: A cylinder exploded due to short circuit in house number M-187 of Pump House Colony of South Eastern Coal Fields Limited of the district. In this incident, two vehicles kept in the house were badly burnt. The items kept in the house were also damaged.

According to the information, this incident happened in the house of CCL employee Lakshmeshwar Singh. The reason behind this is said to be electricity related problem and short circuit. There was trouble here for the last few days and the people nearby had complained about it to the SECL management and the local public representative. Even after this the problem was not paid any attention. Suddenly a cylinder caught fire due to a short circuit in this area. Due to this, there was smoke in the entire area. On receiving information from the people, the fire brigade reached the spot and controlled the fire. Everyone heaved a sigh of relief as the fire was extinguished on time.
