Damoh: Auto rammed into house, one girl died, three injured are undergoing treatment
Damoh: On Friday evening, a drunken auto driver entered a roadside house in Dharampura of Kotwali police station area on Damoh-Katni road. Four girls playing in the courtyard were injured in the accident, in which one girl died while being taken to Jabalpur. Three injured girls are undergoing treatment at the district hospital. After the incident, a crowd of people gathered at the spot and beat up the drunk auto driver. After this he was handed over to the police. Of the four girls, three are cousins, while one is a maternal sister. Who had come to her grandmother’s house during summer vacation.
According to the information, Patharia resident Sushma father Mukesh Patel (16), Gwari resident Palak father Dhaniram Patel, Tanu father Dhaniram Patel (5) and Vanshika father Santosh Patel (1) were injured in the accident. Sushma was seriously injured from below her waist to her legs, she was referred to Jabalpur in a critical condition, but she died in Jabera while being taken. Vanshika and Tanu’s head and Palak’s hands and legs are injured. Vanshika is being treated in the child ward and two real sisters Palak and Tanuka are being treated in the surgical ward. Grandmother Natribai Patel told that Sushma, Palak and Tanu are the children of her daughters. Vanshika is my son’s daughter. A week ago the granddaughter came to our place during summer vacation. The three girls went to play in the courtyard with their son’s daughter Vanshika, when an auto came from the roadside and entered the courtyard, the girls were injured in the accident.
The police took the injured auto driver Rakesh Tiwari, resident of Footeraward No. 1, to the district hospital. Saving him from the crowd of people, he was taken straight to the doctor’s room and the channel gate was closed. After MLC, the police took him outside the hospital and took him in the car to the police station. Kotwali TI Anand Singh told that the driver was under the influence of alcohol and was coming from Samanna. A case will be registered against the accused driver and further action will be taken.
