Daughter-in-law’s death, 4 in-laws arrested

Baloda Bazar. Police has arrested 4 accused in dowry harassment case in Baloda Bazar. A few days ago a woman committed suicide by hanging herself. The maternal side of the deceased has accused the in-laws of dowry harassment. In the case, the police have arrested the father-in-law, husband and sister-in-law of the deceased.

This whole matter is related to City Kotwali police station area of Baloda Bazar. A newly married man committed suicide by hanging himself in Pahanda village. After getting the information, the police reached the spot and sent the dead body for postmortem. Taking the matter seriously, the police started the investigation. During investigation, the maternal side of the deceased accused the in-laws of dowry harassment. The police have arrested the husband, mother-in-law, father-in-law and sister-in-law of the deceased.

Station in-charge Amit Tiwari told that the daughter-in-law was being tortured and forced to commit suicide by the in-laws. A complaint has been registered against 4 accused and arrested.
