Day temperature dropped by six degrees Celsius due to rain
Ambala. It rained intermittently in Ambala since Thursday morning. Due to this, a drop in day and night temperatures was recorded. While 11 mm of rain had fallen till the morning, 9 mm of rain was recorded till the evening.
Light drizzle was also seen at 6 pm. According to meteorologists, the rain has occurred due to the partial effect of western disturbance. Its effect can be seen by December 1st.
Dr. Madan Khichad, Chairman, Department of Agricultural Meteorology, Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, said that during December 2 to December 5, the weather is generally dry and there is a slight drop in the night temperature and day temperature in the state due to northerly and north-westerly winds. There is a possibility of slight increase in temperature and light fog in the morning.
