Dead body disappears from hospital freezer, employees shocked
Gaurela pendra Marwahi: Big negligence of the district hospital has come to light. In which a young man who committed suicide by consuming poison died during treatment. After which the family members took the body home from the hospital without postmortem.
The matter is of Goutian Tola area of Jatadewari village of Pendra police station area. 40 year old Brij Bhushan Singh Paikra, who lives there, tried to commit suicide by consuming poison due to unknown reasons on Monday night. As soon as the family members came to know about it, they immediately took him to the district hospital. Admitted there. But he died during treatment late Thursday night. After which the hospital staff kept the body safe in the freezer.
The negligence of the hospital manager came to light when in the morning the hospital staff noticed that the body had gone missing from the freezer. When information was collected hurriedly, it was found that the dead body driver of the district hospital took the body along with the family members and left it at the ancestral residence of the deceased without taking any action. After which the hospital manager informed the police about the incident. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the team of Pendra police reached Jatadewari and after conducting Panchnama of the body, postmortem was done and the body was handed over to the family members.
