Dead body of a newborn found on the roadside, sensation spread
Jalalabad. There was chaos in village Tikola Dudhwari of Jalalabad police station area on Wednesday afternoon when the dead body of a newborn was found buried in a ditch on the roadside. Police reached the spot after receiving the information and took out the dead baby and after investigation, sent the body for post-mortem. Ramguni, a resident of Tikola Dudhwari village of Jalalabad police station area, has made a basket made of mud on the roadside of the village.
People also stare at the roadside. At 12 noon on Wednesday the woman went to take out the pots from Bathiya. When she saw the newborn child’s hand buried in a pile of dung, she screamed. When the news of the child’s hand being seen outside the hut spread, a crowd gathered at the spot. Whoever heard it was left speechless. When the villagers removed the pile of garbage, they found the dead body of a newborn baby lying naked. His umbilical cord was cut.
The villagers informed the police station. Inspector-in-charge Harpal Baliyan reached the spot with the police force and sent the body of the newborn for post-mortem. Woman Ramguni told the inspector in-charge that the hand of the newborn was visible from the heap of garbage. Fears are being expressed that out of public shame, someone has buried the newborn son in a pile of garbage. He may die from suffocation. Inspector in-charge said that the cause of death will be clear from the post mortem report. He said that the matter is being investigated.
