Dead body of youth found in drain, investigation started

Rudrapur. There was panic in the police after the dead body of a youth was found in the drain on Rampur-Delhi Highway. On receiving the information, the police arrived and took out the body and sent it for post-mortem.

According to the information, late on Thursday evening the police received information that the body of a youth was lying in the drain at Indira Chowk. As soon as the information was received, SSI Arjun Giri reached the spot with the police force and after getting information about the incident, sent the body for post-mortem. In the initial investigation, the youth was named as 28-year-old Salman, resident of Bhootbangla Basti.

It is being told that the young man was a drug addict and often kept wandering here and there. Many times the young man was also admitted to a de-addiction center. The young man was the only brother of four sisters. There is chaos in the family over the death of the young man. On the other hand, SSI Arjun Giri said that the police is waiting for the post mortem report. After the report comes, the police will investigate further.
