Deadly culvert, 7 crore rupees passed 2 years ago, still not built
Gariaband: For the convenience of the people of 40 villages on the Amlipar Sukha Tel river of the district, the construction of a high-level bridge was started in 2022 at a cost of 7 crores. The work started under the supervision of the bridge branch of PDWD, but the work could not be completed even in two years.
Not even one of the five pillars has been erected. Now in the rainy season, school children are going to study risking their lives. At the same time, every person traveling has to take risks.

Now traveling on this culvert connecting Amlipar to National Highway 130 is equal to inviting an accident. Crossing is a compulsion. In such a situation, every needy person is compelled to choose this deadly route for movement. Whether it is teachers going to school or higher secondary students coming to school, they are travelling taking risks. Accidents are happening every day, some people have even lost their lives, but due to compulsion people have not stopped travelling on it.
