Demand to immediately implement the decision of giving 4℅ dearness allowance in Chhattisgarh
Raipur: State President of Indian State Pensioners Federation Chhattisgarh, Virendra Namdev has appealed to all the political parties including Bharatiya Janata Party, Congress in the state of Chhattisgarh to immediately implement the Central Government’s decision to give 4℅ dearness allowance to the central employees and pensioners from July 23 in Chhattisgarh in the same manner. A letter has been sent to the Commission demanding the issuance of an order.
It has been said in the release that there is a provision to implement the decision of dearness allowance declared by the Center as is in the state of Chhattisgarh. Since the code of conduct for the assembly elections in the state is in force from 9 October 23 and the caretaker government is not able to take any decision. Therefore, keeping the matter in abeyance till the new government is elected would be a grave injustice to the employees and pensioners of the state, as has been happening earlier. All political parties and Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain should take immediate cognizance of this matter and take action and issue orders for dearness allowance along with arrears before the Dussehra festival so that the needs of the family can be fulfilled with happiness in Diwali.
On behalf of Indian State Pensioners Federation Chhattisgarh, State President Virendra Namdev tweeted (x) to Chief Election Commissioner Rajeev Kumar, Election Commission of India, New Delhi, that the employees and pensioners of Chhattisgarh state will be given 4℅ percent salary from July 23, at the same level as the employees and pensioners of the Central Government. A request has been made to direct Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain to provide dearness allowance/dearness relief. In this series, Dr. Raman Singh of Bharatiya Janata Party and Bhupesh Baghel of Congress Party also wrote a letter to the Election Commission of India by sending a message through (x) and asked the employees and pensioners of the state to also get 4℅ percent DA/DR Dussehra like the Centre. – There is a demand to get it before Diwali.
