Surguja. Deputy CM Singh Dev’s statement has come to light regarding Samari MLA Chintamani Maharaj joining BJP and contesting elections from Ambikapur. TS Singhdev said, those who have loyalty to the Congress Party never leave the Congress Party because of not getting the ticket. When personal aspirations are above the party, they change the party and also their ideas. Further TS Singhdev said, Chintamani Maharaj was earlier in the BJP party. Then the talk of joining Congress and now again joining BJP has come to the fore. The matter of Chintamani Maharaj contesting elections from BJP party is an internal matter of BJP.
On the basis of survey, tickets of sitting MLAs have been cut. Further TS Singhdev requested the party people to stay with the party. The work could not be done as per everyone’s wish. From time to time the party gives due place to everyone. MLA Chintamani Maharaj has revealed the conversation he had with former cabinet minister Brijmohan Agarwal. He has proposed to BJP leaders to contest elections from Ambikapur. Congress MLA Chintamani Maharaj told after meeting BJP leaders that Brijmohan Aggarwal has talked about giving seat in the Lok Sabha elections after joining BJP. He said that, if our conditions are accepted then I will join BJP, otherwise I will remain where I am.
