Developed India Sankalp Yatra reaching Gram Panchayats
Mahasamund. Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra is being organized daily in various Gram Panchayats in the district since 16th December. On Monday, Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra reached Gram Panchayat Bhathori of Basna development block, Gram Panchayat Dhodaraksa of Pithora development block, Gram Panchayat Paterapali and Ghuchapali of Saraipali development block. When the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra reached these Gram Panchayats, the IEC vans (campaign chariots) were welcomed by public representatives by applying tilak at the beginning of the camps organized there. After this, information about various public welfare schemes and programs of the government was given in the camps. In the camps, information about various public welfare schemes run by the government was displayed through LEDs by IEC vans.
Till now, this Vikas Yatra has reached 352 Gram Panchayats in the district and the beneficiaries have also been given the benefits of the schemes as per their eligibility. Due to lack of information to the citizens of remote areas, they are not able to get the benefits of the schemes. In this journey, through publicity mediums, information about the welfare schemes run by the government is reaching the eligible and needy citizens of far-flung areas. Efforts are being made to bring happiness and prosperity in their lives through schemes. Citizens should understand these and join the main stream of development by taking benefits as per their eligibility. Economic development will happen only when everyone moves forward. With this the country will also progress and the dream of developed India will come true.
Apart from this, in the camps, the beneficiaries who had earlier availed the benefits of government schemes were informed about the changes in their lives and economic progress after availing the benefits of the scheme under Meri Kahani-Meri Jubani. Cultural programs were also presented by school students in the camps. Health camps are also being organized in Gram Panchayats under the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra. In which the Health Department and AYUSH Department are conducting free health check-up of the villagers and providing necessary consultation and treatment. Besides giving information about other schemes including Ayushman Bharat, applications are also being received for making Ayushman cards. IEC in the program A short film on the progress of Government of India schemes was screened by the van and calendars, brochures, pamphlets etc. related to Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra were distributed.
