In view of his arrest from Bhilai two days ago and the ruckus at the time of his jail admission in Raipur and the possibility of any untoward incident while taking him to Raipur-Balodabazar, the police decided to present him from the jail itself.
Violence and arson took place in Balodabazar Collectorate on June 10. In this case, Congress MLA Devendra Yadav was arrested from Bhilai Nagar on Saturday and sent to the Central Jail in the capital. The police will demand to extend Devendra Yadav’s judicial remand. Yadav has also applied for bail.
