Dharsinwa police caught liquor, 2 accused including interstate arrested
Raipur. 2 accused including 1 interstate have been arrested for transporting liquor illegally. According to information, Dharsinwa police received information that two persons riding a two-wheeler were smuggling liquor and C.H.C. The hospital is coming from Dharsinwa towards Dharsinwa. On which, under the direction of senior officers and under the leadership of station in-charge Dharsinwa, the team of police station Dharsinwa started tracing the two-wheeler vehicle and the person of Hulee told by the informer. Meanwhile, seeing the two wheeler told by the informer coming towards Gramin Bank Dharsinwa, the team members laid siege and caught the two wheeler and the persons riding in it. During interrogation, the persons gave their names as Moh. Told to be Ikrar and Sameer Khan. On searching the bag kept by the team members, country liquor was found in the bag and on searching the persons, 01 sharp knife was also found with them. Continuous efforts were being made to mislead the team members by not presenting any kind of document on demanding valid documents from both the accused in relation to keeping and transporting liquor and keeping knife. On which both the accused were arrested and illegally kept from their possession, 55 pouvas of country liquor and 01 piece of two-wheeler CG/10/BD/8657 Jumla, worth about Rs. Action was taken after registering.
