DIG inspected RPF post
Raipur : RPF DIG Bhavani Shankarnath Gondia had come to inspect the RPF post, CIB and SIB. The DIG, who was fond of visiting the on-duty mall on the pretext of inspection, reached Gondia this time and also went for a Bodalkasa picnic. Now the question is whether the expenses of the picnic were under the protocol service? Or did the DIG himself bear the expenses here? It is also important to mention here that the distance from Gondia to Bodalkasa picnic spot is about 50 KM and here the DIG went in a vehicle booked at the expense of Railways and he was also given an additional patrolling vehicle of RPF.
RPF source claims that permission for inspection was taken from IG RPF. But it is not clear whether the IG is aware that the DIG has gone for a picnic. An RPF source further said, DIG Bhavani Shankarnath had reached Gondia from Vande Bharat on 29 November. After this he inspected the CIB wearing uniform. After inspecting here for an hour, we went to Bodalaksa for picnic without lunch. CIB Inspector and some staff were also present with him. After partying here at night, they reached Gondia in the morning. After this, keeping the rules in mind, he inspected SIB and Gondia RPF post without uniform. After this, DIG Vande Bharat left for Bilaspur.
