The companion was seriously injured. After the incident, a crowd of villagers gathered at the spot.
With the help of local people, the police pulled out the driver trapped in the truck. Considering the serious condition of the injured youth, he was shifted to a higher level center for better treatment. At the same time, the condition of the victims remains critical. According to local people, early in the morning two trucks carrying goods came from Patna side, while one truck was going towards Patna. Due to high speed of the vehicle near Osmanpura turn, there was a fierce collision between them. After this it fell into a 20 feet deep ditch, causing a fire on the highway.
Due to which the driver died painfully due to burns. At the same time, with the help of local residents, Khalasi was saved and sent for treatment. The deceased was identified as Shiv Kumar, 40, son of Ramchandra Prasad, resident of Badhanpura village in Patna district. At present, police officers from two police stations have started investigating the case. At the same time, the deceased driver claims that he was a resident of Sirsia village of Sarai police district. The police recovered the body and started the post-mortem. A huge crowd of villagers gathered at the incident site. Nagarnaus police station incharge Naradmuni has confirmed the death of the driver in the incident.
