Disabled girl strangled to death and thrown into well, mother arrested

Thiruvananthapuram: A disabled girl was allegedly strangulated to death by her mother and thrown into a well. The deceased has been identified as Anushka (8) of Paduvath House, Chirayinkeezhu. Anushka and her mother Mini were missing for the last two days. Mini confessed to the crime on Thursday morning. According to Mini’s statement, he strangled the girl to death and threw her in the well. The reason for the murder is not clear.
