District Election Officer and Superintendent of Police exercised their franchise and were appointed for election duty
Jhunjhunu has initiated the postal ballot voting process for the 2023 Assembly General Elections. Starting from Friday, District Election Officer (Collector) Bachanesh Aggarwal reported that Seth J.K. Modi cast his vote at the Facilitation Center located in Rabaumavi. Engaging with fellow voters present, Modi shared his appreciation for the Election Commission’s initiative. Additionally, District Superintendent of Police Devendra Kumar Vishnoi also exercised his voting rights at the Facilitation Center situated in the Community Hall of Police Lines.
During the Assembly General Elections of 2023, special Facilitation Centers have been set up across the district to aid voters who are on election duty to cast their votes through postal ballots. District Election Officer Bachanesh Aggarwal informed that these centers will operate from November 17 to November 20 (for the second training session) at various locations: Radheshyam R in the district headquarters, Morarka Government College, Seth J.K. Modi Government Girl Umavi, martyr Colonel J.P. in Janu Raumavi, and Community Building Police Lines.
Additionally, to assist the polling party departing on November 24 (for the third training), a Facilitation Center has been established at Seth Motilal P.G. College in Jhunjhunu. Aggarwal mentioned that these centers are specifically designated for each assembly constituency, catering to voters posted within the district under the supervision of the respective returning officer. Operating hours for these facilities will be from 8 am to 6 pm.
Aggarwal also notified representatives, candidates, and political party agents that they are welcome to observe the voting process at these centers. However, the voting facility at the community building of Police Lines will only be accessible to police personnel, home guards, vehicle drivers, conductors, etc.
