District level officers should control subordinate offices and officers: Collector

Mohalla. Collector S. Jaivardhan reviewed the pending cases by holding a meeting of officers in the meeting hall of the district office. The collector told the district level officers that it is the responsibility of the department head to keep control over his subordinate offices and officers. Continuously evaluate the subordinate offices and officers. Evaluate their work, as well as bring progress in the implementation of departmental schemes. The collector said that due to the Model Code of Conduct being in effect during the Lok Sabha elections, the implementation of departmental schemes has been partially affected. He told all the officers that all departmental officers should work in action mode and bring the expected progress in the implementation of the schemes. They have been asked to benefit the beneficiaries from the schemes by assessing the schemes afresh. The collector further said that while following the instructions given by the higher officials, prepare the subordinate offices to follow the given instructions as well. He said that the block level officers should be present regularly in their respective headquarters and discharge their responsibilities by giving priority to the implementation of the scheme and the works related to public concern. He said that in the case of law and order, the concerned Sub-Divisional Officer should inform the Revenue. In order to ensure that no untoward incident takes place anywhere in the district, be alert yourself and keep the departmental staff ready to work sensitively. In the time limit meeting, the Collector inquired about the preparations made by the School Education Department for starting the school from the new academic session. The Collector has given instructions to complete all the preparations in the school, ashram hostel. Instructions have been given to start the work of planting grass for animals in the pasture made in the Gram Panchayat as soon as expected. The Collector inquired about the storage of fertilizers and seeds in the district and distribution made to the farmers. The Collector directed that all societies should keep a sufficient amount of fertilizers and seeds stored. Ensure that the required amount of fertilizers and seeds is made available to the farmers on their demand. Keeping in mind the rainy season, instructions have been given to plant sufficient amount of saplings in the district. Horticulture Department, Forest Department have been instructed to jointly prepare the necessary action plan for plantation. Keeping in mind the monsoon session, the Collector has said sensitively that instructions have been given to make the citizens aware so that there is no loss of life and property due to lightning during the monsoon in the district. It has been said to run an awareness campaign among the citizens regarding relief and rescue during lightning strike. Joint Collector Mrs. Premlata Chandel, District Project Director Officer Hemant Thakur, SDM Mohla Hemendra Bhuarya, SDM Manpur Amit Nath Yogi and other district level officers were present in the meeting.
