District level peace committee meeting was organized – organize rallies and processions with peace and harmony

District level peace committee meeting under the chairmanship of District Collector Kamar Chaudhary and District Superintendent of Police Vandita Rana was organized in the Collectorate Auditorium on Wednesday. The District Collector and Superintendent of Police gave necessary guidelines after discussing with the officers and members of the peace committee on communal harmony, social harmony and law and order in view of upcoming festivals – Morharam, Kavad Yatra, Raksha Bandhan etc., festivals and upcoming assembly elections.
In the meeting, District Collector Kamar Chaudhary said that all the events in Dausa have been peaceful, people of all religions and sects should maintain a cordial atmosphere by coordinating with each other. He said that the organizers and representatives of all rallies and processions should keep in mind that no one else should be inconvenienced by this. He said that following their traditional customs organize rallies and processions. He said that every rally and procession should be organized only after taking permission from the administration or police and following the rules. The District Collector said that there will be a complete ban on DJs in the populated area and the organizers will be fully responsible for playing the song on the speaker. In the meeting, suggestions were invited from the members of the Peace Committee while discussing about celebrating the festivals with joy and gaiety while maintaining mutual harmony and peace on the occasion of Moharram (Tazia) procession along with upcoming festivals Raksha Bandhan, Hariyali Teej. The District Collector asked to ensure necessary action considering the suggestions received. The members of the Peace Committee said that there is an atmosphere of peace and harmony in the district and all the people participate in each other’s festivals.
In the meeting, Superintendent of Police Vandita Rana said that after obtaining necessary permission from the administration for organizing rallies and processions, all the organizers should ensure compliance with the conditions mentioned in the permission letter, using indecent or indecent language towards any person, society and religion. But strict action will be implemented by the administration. Anti-social elements become active during festivals, in such a situation, there is an appeal to the representatives of religious organizations and the common people to be alert and become the ears, nose and eyes of the administration and the police and inform immediately if there is any possibility of anti-social elements and sensitive incidents. He said that the members of the Peace Committee work as a bridge between the police administration and the general public.
Additional Superintendent of Police Dr. Lalchand Kayal, Sub-Divisional Officer Senthal Neetu Karol, Sub-Divisional Officer Nangal Rajawatan Ramavatar Meena and distinguished members of the District Peace Committee were present in the meeting.
